On-model photo studio in Paris: the Live stage
The Live stage is E-Do Studio's dedicated on-model shooting solution. Set in our 240 m² photo and video studio in Saint-Ouen, on the edge of Paris, it produces consistent e-commerce content, fast to make and easy to reproduce across sessions.
A stage built for on-model shooting
The Live stage is where products worn by a model are photographed and filmed. It covers three uses: on-model shooting, e-commerce photo and video, lookbooks and linesheets. It is designed to keep that content consistent and reproducible from one session to the next, so a new series matches the ones before it.
Live stage equipment
Images are captured with a Canon EOS R body fitted with a motorized 24–105 mm zoom. The motorization works on three axes: height, tilt and zoom. The whole setup is controlled from an iPad app. Lighting is continuous high-CRI LED, which serves photo and video alike. Files are delivered as JPG, PNG, TIFF and RAW for photo, and MP4 and MOV for video.
On a model or on a ghost mannequin
“Mannequin photography” covers two practices, and the studio has a stage for each. For a garment worn by a model, it is the Live stage. For textile packshots on a mannequin, without a model, it is the Vertical stage: particularly efficient for ghost, pinned and standardized e-commerce shots, with automatic image clipping.
With or without a photographer
You can come with your own crew or without a photographer. The studio provides the stage, the machines, the lighting and the technical operator. A photographer, stylist or model can be provided on request.
